The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 10 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Four players did not practice: Darren Sproles, Corey Clement, Jalen Mills, and Sidney Jones.

Sproles’ absence was expected following the news that he aggravated his hamstring injury. NFL insider Adam Caplan notes the injury is to a different area of Sproles’ hamstring than the original issue. It remains to be if/when he’ll be ready to return.

Clement is listed with an illness. One would imagine this won’t prevent him from playing on Sunday.

Mills and Jones missed practice for the second day in a row. This confirms they’ll likely be out for Sunday night’s game.

Ronald Darby could be starting on the left side of the defense (Mills’ usual spot) with Rasul Douglas playing on the right side. That’s the configuration the Eagles used when Mills left the Jaguars game early.

As for the nickel corner position, it could be Cre’Von LeBlanc who gets the nod there as he tries to defend the mighty Cole Beasley. Brian Baldinger recently had a good breakdown on LeBlanc:

Two players were limited in practice: Lane Johnson and Joshua Perkins.

Johnson is expected to play on Sunday despite dealing with a high ankle sprain and a Grade 2 MCL sprain. Some have suggested the Eagles should just rest Johnson instead of further risking him to injury. While that sentiment is understandable, the Eagles need to win this week’s game. And an injured Johnson is still better than a healthy Halapoulivaati Vaitai.

Perkins is listed with an illness. The Eagles’ third tight end should be fine to play.

Nathan Gerry and Corey Graham were upgraded to full participants after being limited on Wednesday. Looks like they’ll be returning to the field this weekend. That’s good news for special teams and depth purposes.

Jason Kelce returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice due to personal reasons.
