The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 13 game against the Washington Redskins.
The good news is that cornerbacks Sidney Jones, Rasul Douglas, and Chandon Sullivan were full participants in practice. It looks like they’re on track to play this week.
Getting Jones and Douglas back means Philadelphia won’t be without their top five corners. Jones and Douglas will likely start on the outside with Cre’Von LeBlanc potentially working as the nickel corner. The undrafted Sullivan, who predictably struggled against the Giants, can return to mainly being a special teams contributor.
Four players were limited on Thursday: Nigel Bradham, Brandon Brooks, Timmy Jernigan, and Darren Sproles.
Bradham said he expects to play despite having a cast on his hand following thumb surgery. Brooks and Jernigan probably should be good to go. It’s hard to expect Sproles to be back until we see it happen. It looks like he’ll at least try to be active on game day either this week or next week. We’ll have to see how the veteran running back continues to progress.
Sounds like #Eagles RB Darren Sproles had no issues with his hamstring in his return to practice. Much better outcome than last time when he tweaked it upon returning to the field. We’ll see about his status for Monday vs. the #Redskins.

Five players did not practice: Michael Bennett, Jordan Hicks, Avonte Maddox, Jalen Mills, and Jason Peters.
Bennett, who hurt his foot in Week 12 before returning to the game, told Les Bowen he thinks he’ll be able to play on Monday. The Eagles certainly need their top pass rusher to be active. Doug Pederson indicated Hicks is expected to miss this week’s game and potentially even longer. Pederson also made it sound like Maddox and Mills will be out this week but they’ll eventually return sooner than Hicks. Peters missed practice due to personal reasons. It’s probably a good thing the veteran left tackle got to have an extra day off at this late stage in the season.
In other injury news, Pederson said injured reserve player Mike Wallace and Mack Hollins are “doing well” but “they are not there yet” in terms of being ready to return from IR. Note that the Eagles can only return one of them to the 53-man roster.
