Totally different game situations doesn’t change the fact that Andy Isabella and Alohi Gilman are this week’s best prospect performances. Andy Isabella was essentially playing against Georgia in the Bulldogs’ cupcake match up before the post season looms while Alohi Gilman was playing in one of the weekend’s few ranked match ups. Isabella’s Minutemen lost while Gilman and the Fighting Irish blew out Syracuse. Despite these vastly disparate outcomes, both players had incredibly notable games.
Isabella was faced with one of the best secondaries in the country and performed mightily well. The smaller wide receiver went over two hundred yards receiving and scored two touchdowns, including some impressive plays against Georgia star Deandre Baker. Isabella is leading the FBS in receiving by a wide margin and the Minutemen playmaker has catapulted his stock this season into being a day two pick… maybe higher.
Andy Isabella is the nation's highest-graded receiver for a reason – his absurd 4.17 yards per route run are tops among qualified draft-eligible receivers – and he is clearly a name to know for the 2019 NFL Drafthttps://t.co/i8Qiqvt2QJ pic.twitter.com/HbR9OljPrF

In a winning performance, Alohi Gilman was crucial in Notre Dame’s domination of the explosive Syracuse Orange. The junior safety picked off two passes and flew around the field to limit the Syracuse air and ground attack. The Navy transfer and former high school quarterback is coming into his own with the Fighting Irish and his strong season may warrant an early entry into the NFL.
