Eagles vs. Saints Game Predictions

Aw, here it goes.

I’ve seen some talk that there’s a sense of dread from Eagles fans heading into Philadelphia’s Week 11 game against the New Orleans Saints.

On one hand, I get it. It’s very possible the Eagles could get blown out today. In fact, it’s honestly what I’m expecting to happen.

But that doesn’t make me dread this game. Quite the opposite. I’m actually looking forward to this game because there’s no real pressure. If the Eagles get blown out, well, that was widely expected. And they’ll still be alive in the NFC East since they need to win their remaining division games to make the playoffs anyway.

It’d be pretty awesome if the Eagles somehow won this one. They’d be 5-5 and it’d feel like there’s still realistic hope for the 2018 season. It’d also be frustrating because it’d make you wonder how the Eagles could beat the Saints in New Orleans but not take care of business against the Cowboys at home.

But yeah, I just don’t know see the Eagles winning today. I know the New Orleans defense can be vulnerable. It’s just hard to trust Philadelphia to fully take advantage of that given how their offense as a whole has been lackluster this year. On the other side of the ball, I can’t see how a banged up secondary is going to have much success containing a red hot Drew Brees.

The Saints are going to win this game. The Eagles will be 4-6.

Definitely not going for a reverse jinx here.
