Here’s a look at which teams Philadelphia Eagles fans should be rooting for during NFL Week 11 games.
EAGLES GAME
Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints: It’d be great to see the Eagles shock the world and advance to 5-5. Root for the underdogs!
NFC EAST GAMES
Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons: The Cowboys are currently ahead of the Eagles due to last week’s game. It’d be nice to see Dallas drop to 4-6. Root for the Falcons.
Houston Texans at Washington Redskins: It’d be easier for the Eagles to keep Washington if they lose some games. Washington will drop to 6-4 with a loss. Root for the Texans.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants: The Giants picked up a meaningless win over San Francisco on Monday night. Here’s to making it two in a row in order to further screw up the Giants’ draft positioning. Root against the Bucs.
NFC GAMES
Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions: Might as well root for the upset given that the Panthers are ahead of the Eagles in the NFC playoff picture. If you’re viewing this matchup from a tanking perspective, the Lions winning helps the Eagles get a better pick. Root for the Lions.
Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals: Need the Raiders to keep losing in order to secure the No. 1 pick and keep it away from the Giants. Root for the Cardinals.
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears: Would rather see the Bears win the NFC North than the Vikings. Root for the Bears.
Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams: Preferable to see the Rams (as opposed to the Saints) getting the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Sure wouldn’t mind if Andy Reid’s team won this big game, though. Root for the Rams, I guess.
DRAFT PICK WATCH
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens are starting Lamar Jackson with Joe Flacco out. Hopefully he’ll go through some rookie struggles on Sunday. The Eagles need the Ravens to keep losing in order to get a better 2019 second-round pick from Baltimore. Root for the Bengals.
WHAT’S LEFT
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars: Don’t want to see the Ravens get a chance to take back the AFC North. Root for the Steelers.
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts: Root for Frank Reich. Root for the Colts.
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers: Don’t want to see the Bolts blow their playoff spot and open a door for the Ravens to be a wild card team. Root for the Chargers.
BYE WEEKS
Buffalo Bills: The Bills will return from their bye to play the Jags next weekend.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns will return from their bye to play Cincy next weekend.
Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins will return from their bye to play Indy next weekend.
New England Patriots: The Pats will return from their bye to play NYJ next weekend.
New York Jets: The Jets will return from their bye to play the Pats next weekend.
San Francisco 49ers: The Niners will return from their bye to play the Bucs next weekend.
