Philadelphia Eagles fans were feeling good heading into Sunday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. BGN’s FanPulse numbers showed Eagles fans were expecting a win by an average of 10 points. Even Cowboys fans had the Eagles winning by an average of three points.

But the Eagles did not beat the Cowboys. And now fan confidence has rightfully reached a new low for the 2018 season, as you can see in chart form:

The Eagles’ fan confidence meter ranks at 17%. Only seven teams rank lower: Bengals (15%), Giants (15%), Broncos (8%), Lions (6%), Buccaneers (6%), Jets (3%), and Jaguars (3%).

The lack of confidence is also expressed in the predictions for this week’s game. Eagles fans are expecting Philadelphia to lose to the Saints by an average of 11 points. They’re on the same page with Saints fans from Canal Street Chronicles, who are expecting an 11-point win at home in New Orleans.

So, yeah. Not a fun season.
