Why the Eagles WILL beat the Saints and the Rams and make playoffs

Many of us fans are heart broken over the loss to Dallas and the overall performance of our Superbowl Champion Eagles in this 2018 season so far and for good reasons too. We all had very high expectations this year and visions of the Eagles flying through the schedule and beating the teams we all thought they would beat and losing to the teams we all thought they would lose to,

As the season progressed we all seen a complete reversal of our thoughts and watched our heros struggle more often then not on both sides of the ball with many of us wondering what the hell is wrong and why is this such a huge problem for the team to claim victories?

There are a few reasons to place blame on with the easiest being all the injuries and that is a VERY good place to start, however another area in which we could place blame and this quite possibly could be the most key place to place blame and this is the loss of coaching staff.

The loss of OC position has been very evident since game 1 as the team struggled to move the ball and put many points on the board and most pointed fingers at the QB position as at the time it was Nick Foles,as time went on and the return of Carson Wentz was evident everyone believed the ship would be righted and the Eagles would once again be superior and begin to look like the 2017 team that seemed to be able to score at any given moment,

Once Carson returned and the team still looked flat and lifeless we naturally wrote it off as Carson having rust and still needing time to get up to speed which in theory was still a good way to look at things but to be realistic, Once Carson came back the team still utilized the SAME players that Nick Foles utilized and ran the SAME concepts and plays and yet still the team was struggling to score points and Carson even got WR Alshon back and still the outcome of scoring was not much different then the prior weeks and the results were much the same with the exception of one GIANT offensive output and the main focus needs to be placed on the offensive coordinator staff and the overall playcalling from game to game which for the most part has been extremely predictable to say the least and this is a direct effect of losing the mastermind behind the 2017 Eagle offensive output in Frank Reich.

We can lay blame on the loss of Ajayi and claim our RBs are not NFL quality but the 2017 Eagles did not exactly light the stat sheets up weekly with superior rushing games and Blount,Clement and Jay would do just enough to solidify the weekly needs and here in 2018 with the RBs of current we are still getting the same rushing outputs as 2018 with what we have at the position for the plays and concepts the players are put in,

To sum this up there is a lack of offensive creativity this year and its become very evident on a weekly basis and to be fair to all the offensive players im not sure we can place blame on them as with the decimated Oline and shuffling of players im not too sure a RB of even Bell or Mccoy could do much better within these very vanilla basic plays being sent in. Many fans blame the defense for the losses and want Jim Schwartz fired but everyone needs to REALIZE that this defense is the EXACT SAME as last years Superbowl winning defense with added improved players and the defense is still allowing the same results as last year and is very close to allowing the same points and total yardage.

I personally cant stand the defensive scheme but any team that consistently only allows 22 or less points on average in the NFL should win a majority of the games, there are not many shutouts in the NFL and your team should be a winner when allowing these points,

Many hate Mills,Darby and other players but the truth of the matter is these players are only as good as the scheme they are put in,a player is not going to break up a 7 yard pass when hes playing 10 yards off the receiver and its simple as that, same goes for stopping a RB from gaining 6 yards or more while playing 10 yards off the LOS and depending on the front 4 to stop the runs,

The system works though and the Eagles are ranked nicely in the rushing yards allowed category so its not exactly not working and once the opposing team gets inside the redzone the defense has a pretty great track record of holding the opposition to either zero or 3 points and sometimes even turnovers but not this year unfortunately, So we cannot place blame on the defense for the teams woes this year as even with all the injuries the defense is STILL performing EXACTLY the same way it has since even last year and the most recent loss against the Cowbitches showed no differences even with replacement players as the team still allowed their average points.

This all brings us to a huge conclusion and if your memory serves you well there is DEFINETLY reason to believe that this EAGLES team can beat both the Saints and Rams and then handle business against the NFC East foes and still claim division winners if all falls into place.

The Schwartz defense is really good at giving up passing yards and huge chunk plays that easily shorten the field between the 20s and the defense easily gives up 3rd and 15s and other long completions between the yard markers that leaves us fans fucking cringing but again the motherfuckers stiffen right up once the opposing team gets to the redzone and THAT RIGHT THERE IS WHY the EAGLES WILL BEAT BOTH RAMS AND SAINTS because these two specific teams live and die by the LONG plays and huge CHUNK gains and once they hit the redzone their offenses struggle more often then not and this is where the Eagles defense is the strongest and one of the more stingier in the NFL.

Yes both Rams and Saints have great RBs but once again where is the Eagles defense the very strongest? If your memory serves you well the Eagles played great redzone defense against the Rams last year and they came out with the victory and being that the Schwartz defense has been very consistent this year one would have to believe that they will hold these offenses to the average that they have been and the Eagles win both games,

Optimism aside and allow this to sink in,Golden Tate is going to be a huuuuuuuge addition to this team moving forward and his presence alone in the offense is going to trigger another 8-10 points per game which is going to elevate the Eagles average of 20 points to the low 30s and this is going to come into effect beginning this weekend when the Eagles visit the Saints and leave there with a 34-23 win which is going to jump start this Eagles team in which they will go undefeated the last part of the schedule and throughout the run get quality players back from injury and become a fucking monster in the playoffs,

As many stated this Eagles team has too many talented players on both sides of the ball and these are quality professional players who need to be placed within their realm of strength in the concepts and plays they are asked to perform in,its up to the coaches to place these players where they are best suited to utilize their skill sets, I believe the team will revise the offensive playbook prior to next game and incorporate not only Tate to his strength but other players as well and this will show as the team is going to finally score above 30 points,

The defense is going to remain the same with yet more players shuffling going on but I strongly believe the front 4 is going to get a lot of pressure on Brees and make his life miserable and the defense is going to have at least 2 takeaways finally in this game, We have NOT seen this team gel together at any point this year and I refuse to believe that we have seen the best this team can offer yet, Once they learn how to beat the fuck out of the mediocre Dallas and Tampa and WTF teams and get their heads out of their asses we will ALL see what was supposed to be seen back in September, Yes we lost an offensive guru in Reich and maybe some additional plays and schemes from Flip but the nucleus of the Superbowl winners are still on the team and I hardly doubt they all forgot how to play football, Doug will begin to incorporate more creative plays now that an extra speedster is involved and im feeling sure that Josh Adams is going to become a huge playmaker moving forward as if anyone noticed up to this point that the kid has bustout potential written all over his play style and his actions,

I know and understand many of us fans are pissed off and writing the Eagles off for 2018 but you need to sit back and except the punt and seriously ask yourself these questions? 1} Are the Redskins better then the Eagles? 2} Are the Cowshits better then the Eagles? 3} Even if we split with NO&LA who is left that we CANT beat? 4} Is this team seriously going worse then 10-6 and missing the playoffs? I have been watching the NFL for over 45 years and seriously been evaluating the entire league, teams and players for over 25 years and in my opinion from all I have ever watched and witnessed this Eagles team is superior to any of the NFC East teams as it stands today and with returning injured players coming along between the next few weeks its only going to get better and better and by the time the playoffs roll around they will be firing on all cylinders,

Aaron Rogers said R...E...L...A...X a few years ago in a similar situation and brought his team to the playoffs, this Eagles team is high far and away much BETTER then that Packers team could ever come close to, Hold on to your HOPES everyone as its time to figure out the loss of Reich and go back to what worked last year, Dont hate on the defense as it is the SAME as last year and it will continue to make us scream and smash remotes but it WILL come out with victories, We have not seen the best of the 2018 EAGLES and the BEST IS YET TO COME!!!!!
