The seventh week of Sunday’s NFL action ends this evening with a Sunday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) and Cincinnati Bengals (4-2). It’s a battle of two AFC teams.

Here’s what I wrote about the Eagles’ rooting interest in this game:

The Bengals are still first in the AFC North thanks to their head-to-head win over Baltimore. It’s preferable for Cincy (or Pittsburgh) to stay at the top of the division so that it makes it harder for the Ravens to make the playoffs. Missing the postseason will make the Ravens’ pick owed to the Eagles more favorable for Philly. Root for the Bengals.
