The Eagles haven’t made many personnel moves the past few weeks, but with the trade deadline just over a week away — and Howie Roseman already freeing up some cap space with renegotiated contracts — rumors are heating up.
Recently, it was reported that the Miami Dolphins were speaking to teams about trading wide receiver DeVante Parker, and it looks like the Eagles were one of the interested teams — as well as the Cowboys.
Yesterday I reported the Dolphins have spoken to multiple NFL teams about a trading DeVante Parker. I'm now told one of those teams is the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s no secret the Eagles are thin at receiver, and even though Mike Groh said earlier this week that they hope to have Mike Wallace back, he and Mack Hollins still sit on IR and the offense could certainly use a speed boost.
The Dolphins reportedly want a third-round pick for Parker, who has been struggling to get on the field due to a lingering quad injury. In 2018, the wideout only had two catches for 40 yards in just two games. Through Parker’s first three seasons in the NFL he’s had 139 receptions for 1,908 yards and eight touchdowns.
The former first-round pick comes with a pretty hefty cap figure as well; Miami exercised Parker’s fifth-year option, which means the receiver is set to receive $9.39 million next season.
