The Philadelphia Eagles will open division play under the lights in East Rutherford, New Jersey against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET, but with a strong chance of thunderstorms throughout the day and into the night, let’s hope it doesn’t end up getting delayed.
East Rutherford is actually in a flash flood warning beginning Thursday at Noon through Friday morning, which means it’s going to be very wet when the Eagles take the field. It looks like there might be a dip in the rain at some point mid-game and then should move out of the area after midnight.
The good news, it looks like the temperatures should be nice despite the rain, and should stay in the low-70s for the duration of the contest.
Bring your ponchos Eagles fans, and stay safe in any thunderstorm conditions.
