After dominating the Minnesota Vikings in the 2018 NFC Championship Game by a final score of 38-7, you might think the Philadelphia Eagles are in line to finally get some respect.
Nope. That’s not the case.
The New England Patriots opened as six-point favorites over the Eagles in Super Bowl LII, according to BetDSI Sportsbook.
In other words, the Eagles are underdogs once again.
And the players aren’t upset about that.
Lane Johnson on being installed as 5.5 underdogs in Super Bowl: "Pretty boy Tom Brady...Would like nothing more to dethrone that guy."

Kelce: “If I’m being honest, I hope we’re underdogs again (vs. NE).

The Eagles have defied the odds to get to this point.
As we all know, they were the first No. 1 seed to ever be home underdogs in their first playoff game. The Falcons were favored over Philadelphia by 2.5 points.
The Eagles beat them
Then the Vikings opened as 3.5 point favorites for the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia.
The Eagles beat them.
Now the Eagles will try to become the first team since the 2013 Baltimore Ravens to win three straight NFL playoff games as underdogs.
Given the way the Eagles have proven their doubters wrong at every turn, it’s impossible to count them out
The Eagles have really rallied behind the idea that no one respects them. They’ve been playing with something to prove.
None of that will matter, though, if they can’t accomplishment the ultimate goal: winning the Super Bowl.
