Strong work.

You might not want to leave your seats at halftime during the Philadelphia Eagles’ matchup against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game this weekend.

The team officially announced that The Roots will be performing at Lincoln Financial Field right after the second quarter on Sunday.

Nice work by the Eagles to book a big Philadelphia-based act for halftime. This is a pretty big game, after all.

The last time the Eagles had a concert at halftime was when they hosted Boyz II Men back in 2014. That mini-show turned out pretty well. I remember the crowd was really feeling it.

The game turned out well, too. The Eagles beat the New York Giants that night by a final score of 27 to 0.

The Linc will be rocking on Sunday regardless of the halftime act, but this performance will only make things even better.

Dog masks. The Roots. 67,000 fans screaming at the top of their lungs. A trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

Sunday’s game is gonna be fun.
