Good news Cowboys fans, Dallas didn’t make the playoffs but you can still watch some Cowboys lose in the playoffs!
There are a lot of former #DallasCowboys players and coaches that are heading to the NFC and AFC title games - 18 to be exact!

Yes, they counted Troy Aikman and Tony Romo. But not Jimmy Johnson and his studio duties. There are also two players the Cowboys could have had but notably passed on in the 2016 draft in Jalen Ramsey and Myles Jack. Oh well.
The Cowboys are “sending” as many former players and coaches to games this weekend as the Bills, who also have 18 players, coaches, and broadcasters in action:
Nigel Bradham, Alan Branch, Ronald Darby, Marcell Dareus, George Edwards, Perry Fewell, Mike Gillislee, Stephon Gilmore, Corey Graham, Nathaniel Hackett, Chris Hogan, Doug Marrone, Lerentee McCray, Jason Peters, Paul Posluszny, Jim Schwartz, Ross Tucker, and Tyrone Wheatley.
Congratulations to the Cowboys, they’re as good as the Bills, who also haven’t been to a conference championship since the 90s.
Guess who has way more players, coaches and broadcasters involved in games this weekend than the Cowboys?
The Eagles.
In addition to, you know, the whole franchise, they also have several alumni on other rosters and coaching staffs and broadcast teams involved in games on Sunday:
Danny Amendola, Arrelious Benn, Patrick Chung, Bill Cowher, Sam Bradford, Dion Lewis, Eric Rowe, Pat Shurmur, and Kevin Stefanski.
They might lose, but at least they actually got there.
