The Philadelphia Eagles have worked out 11 players over the past week. This isn’t unusual; it’s normal practice for teams to work out players in order to have an emergency list of available players ready to go if injury occurs.

Here’s a look at the players the Eagles were working out, via Howard Balzer.

The Eagles are evaluating some depth options at linebacker.

Carl Bradford — 25 years old. 6-1, 248 pounds. Fourth round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Played in six career games and logged two tackles. Spent time with the Packers, 49ers, and Bills. Waived by Buffalo during final cuts.

Antwione Williams — 24 years old. 6-3, 240 pounds. Fifth round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Played in 14 games and started three for the Lions last season. 12 tackles and one forced fumble. Waived by Detroit during final cuts.

Tre'von Johnson — 22 years old. 6-1, 235 pounds. Undrafted free agent in 2017. Signed with the Cardinals. Eight tackles and one tackle for loss in the preseason this year. Waived with an injury settlement by Arizona during final cuts.

Joseph Jones — 23 years old. 6-1, 240 pounds. Undrafted free agent in 2017. Signed with the Cowboys. Led Dallas in preseason tackles with 14. Also had one tackle for loss and one special teams tackle. Waived by Dallas during final cuts.

The Eagles already signed rookie kicker Jake Elliott from the Bengals’ practice squad to their active roster. Elliott is guaranteed three weeks of pay from Philadelphia. The Eagles might have to move on quickly, however, if the 2017 fifth round pick struggles like he did in the preseason. Here are some other kicker news to keep an eye on if Elliott doesn’t work out.

Marshall Koehn — 25 years old. Undrafted in 2016. 2 for 3 on his preseason field goals this summer. Waived by the Vikings after losing kicker battle to Kai Forbath in the 2017 offseason.

Josh Lambo — 26 years old. Undrafted in 2015. 52 for 64 (81.3%) on his field goals in 32 games with the Chargers over the past two seasons. 70 for 78 (89.7%) on his extra point attempts. Waived by the Chargers after losing out to rookie sensation Younghoe Koo.

Mike Nugent — 35 years old. Second round pick in 2005. 236 for 292 (80.8%) over his career. Only made 79.3% of his field goals and 79.3% of his extra point attempts in 2016.

The Eagles are thin at corner so it doesn’t hurt for them to evaluate depth options out on the street.

DeVante Bausby — The Eagles signed him to their practice squad. More info here.

Elie Bouka — 25 years old. 6-1, 205 pounds. Undrafted in 2016. Signed with the Cardinals. Spent 2016 on injured reserve. Got hurt again in 2017 and was waived in August with an injury settlement. The Saskatchewan Roughriders picked him in the third round of the 2016 Canadian Football League draft.

Trey Caldwell — 23 years old. 5-9, 185 pounds. Fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Appeared in one game with the Browns last year. Waived by Cleveland during 2017 final cuts.

Jarnor JonesSigned with the 49ers’ practice squad a week after working out for Philly.
