Cuts and updates
[Saturday, Sept. 2 - 8:46 AM ET] NEW EAGLES ROSTER CUTS TRACKER. CLICK HERE!
[5:50 PM ET] - The Eagles OFFICIALLY announce 16 moves and the roster is now down to 70 players. The Eagles have 17 more moves to make in order to get down to the 53-man limit.
[5:29 PM ET] - Adam Caplan says Dane Evans will be cut (no surprise). The Eagles are also reportedly cutting Aaron Grymes, per CSN Philly. Grymes had a good summer last year and a good spring this year but failed to stand out in the preseason. Down to 82.
[5:17 PM ET] - Philadelphia's top undrafted free agent signing, Tyler Orlosky, has reportedly been cut. Might be a practice squad guy. Down to 84.
[5:16 PM ET] - The Eagles reportedly cut Matt McGloin. Hallelujah. Down to 85.
[4:20 PM ET] - Today's been pretty boring, huh? Saving all the action for tomorrow, I guess? (Watch me jinx it.) In the meantime, here are some notable former Eagles who've been cut today: Matt Barkley, Thad Lewis, Rasheed Bailey. Oh, and much more notably, the Seahawks made a big trade by acquiring Sheldon Richardson from the Jets. The Eagles have to play Seattle on the road again this year. That matchup didn't get any easier with this deal. (Check out Richardson trade reaction from Field Gulls and Gang Green Nation.)
[11:50 AM ET] - The first cut is here and it's Paul Turner. The roster stands at 86 which means 33 more moves to go.
