Alshon Jeffery is back at Eagles training camp practice.
Jeffery missed four days of practice after suffering a shoulder sprain last Saturday, July 29. Jeffery participated in practice on the 30th but he sat out as the team began their live tackling drills last week.
Jeffery’s injury was never believed to be serious. Sources told BGN Radio’s John Barchard that Jeffery still might miss the Eagles’ first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, however, because the team wants to be extra cautious with him.
It’s good to see Jeffery is healthy. The team is counting on him to be their number one wide receiver so it’s important he has time to build chemistry with Carson Wentz.
Along with Jeffery, Donnel Pumphrey (hamstring), Mychal Kendricks (quad), Chris Long (not injured) returned to practice on Sunday.
In other injury news, Nick Foles (elbow), Josh Andrews (hand), and Paul Turner (shoulder) are still out. Anthony Denham is a new addition to the injury list.
New Eagles defensive back Corey Graham is practicing for the first time since signing with Philadelphia last week. He’s wearing No. 36.
