The snap counts are in from the Philadelphia Eagles' 20-16 preseason win against the Buffalo Bills.

The following players did not play: Jason Peters, Nick Foles, Bryce Treggs, Paul Turner, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Wendell Smallwood, Ron Brooks, Anthony Denham, Josh Andrews, Beau Allen, Sidney Jones, Darren Sproles.

The Eagles’ first team offense logged 18 snaps. The plan was only to have them play a drive or two but due to a stalling offense Doug Pederson sent them out four separate times. Most of the first team defense only played 16 snaps.

Quick observations

  • Lots of playing time for the rookies, except in the case of Pumphrey.
  • Marcus Johnson played the same amount of snaps as Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. Seems like a good sign for his roster chances.
  • A number of the players who received the most snaps are roster bubble guys. The Eagles are evaluating who they want to keep or cut.
