A familiar face was spotted at Kansas City Chiefs training camp this week. Former Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is now serving as a coaching intern under former Philadelphia head coach Andy Reid.

Reid was obviously a big factor in Vick’s decision to sign with Philadelphia following his release from prison. They were on the Eagles together from 2009-2012.
Vick spoke about his coaching aspirations on Howard Eskin’s podcast earlier this offseason. Turns out he wasn’t kidding.
Vick joined Kansas City’s staff through the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program. He’s just an intern for now, so it remains to be seen if he’ll earn a full-time role with the team.
A majority of our friends over at Arrowhead Pride seem to like the fact Vick is involved in Chiefs camp.
Kansas City traded up for Patrick Mahomes II in the 2017 NFL Draft so Vick has a young quarterback he can mentor.
Maybe the Eagles would have interest in hiring Vick to their coaching staff in the future one day. He certainly wouldn’t be the first former Eagles quarterback to return to Philadelphia as a coach.
