There’s been some buzz about the Philadelphia Eagles’ Kelly Green uniforms this offseason. Team owner Jeffrey Lurie confirmed the Eagles have interest in bringing them back in some capacity. Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills recently rekindled the Kelly Green conversation when he posted a photo of himself in a modern mockup of the uniform.
Unfortunately, for the Kelly Green lovers, at least, the uniform won’t be returning this season. But if it does return in the future, as Lurie suggested it might, here’s an idea of what the uniforms could look like. NM Sports put together a cool mockup of new Eagles jerseys and logos.
I really like these a lot. Midnight Green is just so boring and outdated. Let’s honor a new era of Eagles football with Carson Wentz with some fresh new jerseys.
Here are some suggested logos are well.
I like the concept here but the new logo looks a little too retro, I think. A new design still has to fit the current era. NM Sports nailed it with this alternate logo, though:
Notice how these alternate logos appear on the back of his mockup jerseys above the nameplate.
Make sure you check out this article at NM Sports for more pictures and a more detailed explanation of the mockup designs. Pretty good stuff.
So, what do you think? Do you like these modern Kelly Green designs?
Should the Eagles switch to these modern Kelly Green jerseys?
