In one month from today, the Philadelphia Eagles will be playing a football game. The results of the game won’t matter, of course, but it’ll still be football. That’s right: there are only 31 days until the start of the Eagles’ 2017 preseason schedule.

The Eagles begin their preseason with a game against a team they lost to last year. Then they play two AFC East teams in a row. The Miami game will be interesting not only because some familiar faces (see: Kiko Alonso, Byron Maxwell) will be returning to Philadelphia, but also because the Eagles and Dolphins will be practicing together leading up to that contest. The Eagles will end their preseason schedule, as always, with the backup bowl against the Jets.
Philadelphia’s 2017 regular season schedule, which is certainly more exciting than the preseason, begins in exactly two months from today.
Eagles training camp begins even sooner: the start date is only two weeks away.
