Alshon Jeffery’s amazing one-handed catch during Eagles practice is something you need to watch

If you’ve been keeping up with my Eagles practices notes, you’ve probably seen me write about how Alshon Jeffery has looked like the real deal. Well, now you don’t need to just take my word for it. Jeffery made an awesome one-handed catch during Philadelphia’s OTA practice on Thursday and it was caught on camera. Behold:

Oh my” indeed.

Yeah, there was no defense. Yeah, it’s only June. But c’mon. That’s an awesome play. And quite frankly it’s just not a play we’re used to seeing Eagles wide receivers making. Not even close.

It’s quite a relief for the Eagles to go from having the league’s worst receiving corps in 2016 to having a guy like Jeffery who can make awesome plays like this one.

Once again, Jeffery has had a very strong spring. He hasn’t missed any practice time (knock on wood). He’s consistently won jump balls. He’s burned the defense at times. He looks like the real deal. Pretty awesome that the Eagles were able to sign him this offseason.
