After visiting with the Bills for two days (and hanging out with old teammate LeSean McCoy), Jeremy Maclin has left Buffalo without signing a contract, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Maclin is now set to meet with the Ravens in Baltimore. It’s possible he ends up signing there instead. The Ravens employ Maclin’s former offensive coordinator, Marty Mornhinweg, in the same title he held in Philadelphia.
On Tuesday, Schefter reported the Eagles were one of four teams to show interest in Maclin. Given the proximity of Philadelphia to Baltimore, you can’t help but wonder if Maclin might visit his old team if he leaves the Ravens without a deal. It’s not like he’d need to visit the Eagles since he’s already familiar with everyone, but it’d be nice to see.
Maclin has been a free agent ever since the Kansas City Chiefs released him late last week. It shouldn’t be too long before he ends up picking a new team. The Eagles are reportedly in the mix for him, so this is certainly a story worth keeping an eye on.
