Dorial Green-Beckham cut by Eagles

Team also signed a quarterback

The Eagles have waived wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.

Green-Beckham appeared in 15 games, starting seven, catching 36 passes for 392 yards and 2 touchdowns in his lone season with the team. He was acquired in a trade with the Titans for Dennis Kelly in August. Tennessee drafted Green-Beckham in the second round in 2015 but also moved on after a year.

The signings of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, along with drafting Mack Hollins and Shelton Gibson, and the incumbent Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor, had effectively ended the tenure of Green-Beckham. Today that became a reality.

The team also announced that they signed QB Dane Evans, who played for Tulsa, starting the last three seasons. Evans gives the Eagles four quarterbacks for training camp.
