NBA Draft 2017: Another big night for the Sixers

It’s a slow time for the Eagles right now, but tonight is still a big night for Philadelphia sports. The Sixers own the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft (7:00 PM on ESPN) after trading up with the Boston Celtics.

The Sixers are expected to select Markelle Fultz (read my comprehensive breakdown here) with the first pick. Fultz joins a corps of young, talented players the Sixers have been acquiring over the past few years. Fultz. Joel Embiid. Ben Simmons. Dario Saric. Lots to be excited about!

Fultz probably isn't the only pick the Sixers will be making. Philadelphia also owns four second round picks so it’s expected they’ll be active in trades.

Definitely tune in and check out Liberty Ballers for all your Sixers draft coverage tonight. Make sure you follow the LB twitter account (@Liberty_Ballers) if you haven't already.

If you don't want to spend the night over at LB, you can use this post as an NBA Draft open thread instead. Might as well do something fun to pass the time until Eagles training camp begins in late July.
