Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith joined the SportsRadio 94WIP Morning Show the other day. The whole interview is worth checking out since Smith is insightful and a good talker. But for some reason one thing Smith said didn’t sit well with a certain Eagles reporter by the name of Howard Eskin.
Another clueless player on #nba player who is GOAT. #eagles @TorreySmithWR , LeBron then Jordan on @SportsRadioWIP. He's never saw Jordan

Smith, who isn’t one to take something like this lying down, called out Eskin.
You ran from the debate....locker room no show https://t.co/GpxEsnueDQ

Was going to say same thing to you. Too bad you never saw #nba when players didn't let players shoot 3s or get free ride to rim. NBA soft https://t.co/OabCMh6xy6

No matter how you feel about the never-ending LeBron-MJ debate, I think it’s safe to say Smith may have earned some fans with this exchange. How can you not like a player willing to call out Eskin? (All in good fun, of course.)
Smith seems like a pretty likeable guy overall. He does good work off the field, he’s pretty funny on Twitter, and he’s personable in interviews. He had some nice moments on the field in spring practices, too. I’m looking forward to seeing what Smith can do this year.
