This special bonus edition podcast is a recording of BGN Radio's discussion about the Philadelphia Eagles as originally aired live on Saturday afternoon from 1-3 PM on SportsRadio 94WIP. This episode features John Barchard and James Seltzer. Listen to the entire episode in the player above this post. We touch on the following topics, via James:

  • South Point in Vegas has set the Eagles over/under at 8.5. John is taking the over and James is taking the under, despite predicting a 9-7 season. So, yeah.

  • Both John and James praise the Derek Barnett pick and wonder why people seem to be criticizing the fact that he's already a polished pass rusher.

  • The guys also discuss the Sidney Jones pick. James isn't as worried as others about Jones' ability to return to form.

  • Adam Caplan was on the station this week with the Midday Show - John and James touched on Caplan's appearance, including his revelation that the Eagles were on the path towards trading Mychal Kendricks to the Niners before the deal fell apart.

  • The guys also discuss the later round picks, specifically what to expect from Mack Hollins and Pumphrey. John is bullish on Donnel Pumphrey's ability to contribute immediately ... very bullish.

  • Is Corey Clement the next Henry Josey? Or is he the next Trey Burton? James is more of a believer in Clement than John, but both think he's more Josey than Burton.

  • John and James look at the over/under total for the rest of the NFC East. Believe it or not, they disagree on each and every one.

  • Lastly, the fellas go live to Jay Cutler's first appearance as a color analyst on Fox. It's ... something.

And much more!
