Philadelphia Eagles 2017 NFL draft picks begin rookie minicamp

The Eagles added eight new draft picks to their roster through the 2017 NFL Draft and 11 more rookies via undrafted free agency. These rookies have arrived in Philadelphia and will officially hit the practice fields today, Friday, May 12 when Eagles rookie minicamp gets underway.

There will also be some media availability today. Doug Pederson will speak to reporters at 11:15 AM. Sidney Jones will meet with reporters at 3:30 PM. Other rookies will be available after practice around 1:45 PM. Stay tuned to BGN for more coverage.

A total of 44 players will participate in Philadelphia’s rookie minicamp, including 20 tryout players. Tryout players obviously do not count against the 90 man roster as they are not under contract. Five first-year players (who spent time on the Eagles practice squad in 2016) will also be in attendance.
