Eagles sign undrafted rookie free agent tight end

They got him after all.

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

In addition to the 10 undrafted rookie free agents signings the Philadelphia Eagles announced on Thursday evening, the Eagles have now added UDFA tight end Billy Brown to the mix.

It was originally reported that Brown would be signing with Philadelphia, so it was a little curious when he didn’t appear on the list of undrafted players the Eagles signed. But now he’s here and he becomes the Eagles’ fifth highest ranked UDFA prospect.

Brown played for Division II Shepherd University. The 6-4, 241 pound pass catcher had 99 receptions for 1,580 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior.
