Five years ago, Sidney Jones sent out a tweet that is very true.

Jones has since deleted the tweet, but the Internet never forgets. Now that Jones is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, though, Jones has nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, he's automatically been vaulted to fan-favorite status.
But wait! There's more. As if Jones couldn't be a better fit for Philly ...

This old Jones tweet is so fitting considering what the Eagles did by drafting and stashing him as an injured player is totally a Sam Hinkie era Sixers move.
Again, these tweets took place before Jones was drafted by the Eagles. But maybe it was destiny all along.
