2017 NFL Draft: 35 Bold Predictions

Ah, draft season, the time of year when you'll read hundreds of mock drafts that attempt to predict three days of utter chaos. Here at BGN we like to make predictions, but not always mock draft predictions. Jonny Page and myself have teamed up for some bold 2017 NFL Draft predictions, takes so hot you'll need oven mitts to handle them (my computer has overheated three times while typing this paragraph). Lets proceed!

1. Three quarterbacks will go before the Eagles pick. -JP
2. The 49ers will try everything they can to trade out of the second spot in the draft. -TJ
3. Corey Davis will fall out of the first round. -JP
4. If the Eagles select a running back in the first round, they will select another by the end of the fourth round. -TJ
5. Somebody will sit in Dave Mangels’ chair. -TJ
6. BLG will be sad when the Eagles trade up for Christian McCaffrey. -TJ
7. The Jaguars will draft O.J. Howard at four. -TJ
8. The Titans and Chargers will swap the 5th and 7th picks. -TJ
9. An offensive lineman will not be taken in the top 20. -TJ
10. John Ross will not be drafted in the first round unless a team trades back into the first to take him. -TJ
11. Only 10 of the players invited to the draft will be taken on the first day. -TJ
12. Some player will send a cryptic tweet that implies they largely disagree with who their team drafted. -TJ
13. The Bengals’ draft selection will be handed a notice of suspension after Roger Goodell calls his name. -TJ
14. A kicker will be drafted before the fourth round. -TJ
15. The comments section will tell me my predictions are silly and call for my head. -TJ
16. Mel Kiper’s hair will fly off of his head. -TJ
17. At least one player will be wearing a MAGA hat. -TJ
18. The Eagles will miss the run on cornerbacks. -TJ
19. Sidney Jones will be selected in the first round. -TJ
20. The Chiefs will trade up to take Patrick Mahomes. -TJ
21. Someone will refuse to hug or shake the commissioner’s hand. -TJ
22. Gareon Conley will fall to the seventh round. -TJ
23. The Browns will not screw up their draft. -TJ
24. Deshaun Watson will not be drafted in the first round. -TJ
25. BGN Radio’s John Barchard will be angry with the Eagles’ pick. -TJ
26. The Giants will draft Dalvin Cook. -TJ
27. Joe Mixon will be drafted in the first round. -TJ
28. Derek Barnett and Charles Harris will both be gone before the Eagles are on the clock. -TJ
29. Christian McCaffrey will be drafted before Leonard Fournette. -TJ
30. The first 2018 mock draft will be out within five minutes of the conclusion of the 2017 draft. -TJ
31. We will all laugh at the Redskins’ pick. -TJ
32. Malik Hooker will be drafted before Jamal Adams. -TJ
33. Every pick the Cowboys make will be just like another first round pick. -TJ
34. If the Eagles select an offensive player in the first round, he will receive an approval rating of at least 77% on the ensuing BGN poll. -TJ
35. Joel Embiid will take the Eagles’ first round pick out for Shirley Temples.
