Let's get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

Eagles speculation! Jason Peters to the Broncos? - PhillyVoice
I think a second-round pick would be great for the Eagles, although I could see them accepting a three. Just for fun, let's take a deeper look at that possibility. On the downside, the Eagles currently have a pair of very good starting tackles in Peters and Lane Johnson. That is an ideal setup for a second-year quarterback that the team is making every effort to surround with talent. Trading Peters unquestionably weakens the offensive line, as Johnson would slide over from right tackle to left tackle, and Halapoulivaati Vaitai would presumably fill in at right tackle. There likely wouldn't be a dropoff from Peters to Johnson, but there would be a major drop from Johnson to Vaitai, as we saw last year.

NFL Mock Draft 2017: Surprise Eagles first round pick - BGN
Linebacker in the first round?

Updated Prospect Info - Iggles Blitz
I think Tarell Basham would be a good fit for the Eagles D. He has good size at 6-4, 269. He has long arms. Basham generates good power off the edge. He doesn’t bend and turn as well as you’d like, but that is more critical for DEs who have tighter splits to the OTs. Lining up out wide gives DEs a natural angle and helps the guys who don’t bend as well. Could go as early as the 2nd round.

Lawlor: Building Roster A Balancing Act -
Long makes a lot of sense for the Eagles. He played in a similar scheme for the Rams and had a lot of success. From 2010-13, Long averaged more than 10 sacks per season. He is a natural fit in the 4-3 and feels at home when allowed to line up out wide and fly off the edge. I would love to tell you Long will come in here and have another 10-sack season, but that's not likely. He can come in and compete for a starting job and playing time. Nothing will be given to him and that's just what Long wants. He will play as much as he deserves. He knows the Eagles have talented rushers in Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry, Marcus Smith, and Steven Means. Long played on a deep, talented line for the Rams and that helped bring out the best in him.

Fantasy Football: Alshon Jeffery gives Eagles passing game credibility, brightens Fantasy outlook - CBS Sports
The Eagles upgraded their receiving corps with the addition of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, which is great news for quarterback Carson Wentz. Jamey Eisenberg says this is fantastic for Fantasy owners.

Eagles unlikely to use a roster spot on a fullback in 2017 - Inquirer
“It’s something that obviously, my history, even as a player in the West Coast system, we’ve always had that position, we’ve always had that player,” Pederson said. “You’ve always been able to get in the I-formation and run downhill. The game has changed so much now, that position, we can use a tight end. You saw last season we used a defensive tackle, Beau [Allen] was in that position a little bit. The game has changed. If you’re not adjusting to, say, the times, those positions can sometimes be filled by other role players.”

Before the Browns and Osweiler, Eagles 'bought a pick' with Sam Bradford - ESPN
While it would have been cleaner to limit the commitment to Bradford to one year, Lurie noted that the team would have “no asset value” at season’s end if they went that route. Once the picture came into focus, the idea was to play Bradford (they expected him to perform well, which would have further driven up his worth), ship him out at season’s end and have Wentz ready to step in Year 2. Then the Teddy Bridgewater injury happened, creating a pressing need for Minnesota at QB and speeding up the timeline.

5 positions, 5 players who make sense for Eagles - Burlington County Times
Derek Barnett, Tennessee. Don’t be fooled into thinking the Eagles are fine at the ends after signing Chris Long to team with Brandon Graham and an underachieving Vinny Curry, Marcus Smith and Steven Means. If Barnett is on the board at No. 14, he would be my selection. You can never have enough pass rushers, especially in a system that likes to rotate players to keep legs fresh as games wear on.

Why NFL Coaches Want More Offseason Time With Players - The MMQB
As I understand it, the deal that’s been offered is a five-year extension over the $23.94 million franchise tag that would lock up Kirk Cousins through 2022. I also know that the sides aren’t close to getting something done now. And while Allen insisted to me that he didn’t see the high one-year price making the long-term talks any trickier, the road to getting a deal done certainly won’t be easy.

This was a horrible draft for the Dolphins. Peep current Eagles offensive guard Dallas Thomas on the list.

Pete Carroll and the Seahawks aren’t happy with the NFL’s leaping ban - SB Nation
Seattle’s owner voted in favor of this Eagles proposal, by the way.
