Hernandez was serving life in prison without parole for the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2013. Hernandez was recently acquitted of a separate 2012 double murder incident that occurred in Boston.

Hernandez once had a promising NFL career. The former fourth-round pick had 175 receptions for 1,956 yards and 18 touchdowns in 38 games with the Patriots. It all came crumbling down, however, and now Hernandez’s life has come to a dark end.
