THE BIG NEWS IS FINALLY HERE.
The 2017 NFL Draft is being hosted in Philadelphia this year, and our site’s podcast, BGN Radio, will be there on the scene. And you can be part of it! More details from BGN Radio host John Barchard.
We are heading to the NFL Draft and we want you to join us!
BGN Radio is proud to announce that we will be broadcasting every day LIVE from the 2017 NFL Draft! We’ll be placed right next to the very steps that future Eagles and NFL players will walk up on draft night. You will be able to WATCH AND HEAR US through our Facebook page, our Mixlr page, and we’ll have as much audio on demand as we can pump out throughout our BGN Radio podcast feeds: SoundCloud - iTunes - Stitcher - Google Play - Tune In.
We plan on doing a live broadcast twice per day! In the afternoons we will preview the draft and hopefully have lots of interviews with NFL media, players, personalities and maybe even sit down with the Commish himself, Roger Goodell. Our draft experts Ben Natan, Turron Davenport and the rest of the BGN Radio crew will be there breaking down all of the Eagles picks and certainly making fun of some other ones (most likely the Rams or Browns).
What makes this BGN Radio Draft Party a little more special is that on Thursday, April 27th you will have an opportunity to join us! Thanks to Bud Light, the first part of our draft party will be AT THE DRAFT. We are still waiting on details about how many folks we can bring in with us, but for the lucky ones in the BGN community we want you there with us side-by-side representing BGN Radio and Bleeding Green Nation. The best part is you can do that with a beer in you hand! Stay tuned for more details on that as we get closer and closer to the NFL Draft.
The second part of our party will be happening on Saturday, April 29th at Adobe Cafe - 1919 E. Passyunk Ave. in South Philly. A total blowout party celebrating the end of the draft! So if you are bummed that you couldn’t make it the actual draft on the first night, come hang out with the entire crew at Adobe for beers, whiskey, margarita pitchers, tacos and some badass karaoke. The owners have been gracious enough to have the TVs on all day for a BGN takeover, so if you want a great place to hang out and watch the draft Adobe is your spot. Once the draft is done on Saturday we will pack up all of our stuff and see you there at 8:00 PM (or so) and we’ll rage on until 2:00 AM or one of us drops dead first.
This journey has been a pretty crazy ride for all of us and we certainly wouldn’t be at the NFL Draft without the BGN community and its’ fantastic support of BGN Radio each week. To my knowledge, this will be the first time a non-NFL owned podcast has been on Radio Row. We are making history here and that’s all thanks to you. From our mother’s basement to the NFL Draft … what an incredible journey this has been. We’ll see you at the draft and Adobe! We can’t wait to hang out with everyone!

We’ll be at South Philly’s own Adobe Cafe after the draft is over. Join us to celebrate what’s hopefully a successful draft for the Eagles!
