Who you want the Eagles to take?

There are only 52 days until the 2017 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 27. Let’s kill some time with our weekly Mock Draft Monday series from now until then.

Last week, SB Nation’s Dan Kadar mocked a cornerback to the Eagles in the first round. This week, the theme of Kadar’s mock is all about adjusting the board based on performances from the NFL Combine. Here’s who the Eagles are picking now that we know they won the coin toss and will select at No. 14.

14. Philadelphia Eagles (via Minnesota Vikings): Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan - Davis didn’t workout at the combine, but his draft stock should be fine. He has good hands and runs great routes, so he should quickly develop into Carson Wentz’s go-to target.

The Eagles used one of their 60 Combine interviews to meet with Davis. As the write-up notes, Davis didn’t participate in drills due to an ankle injury, but here’s a look at how he measured in via Mockdraftable.

Davis has been connected to the Eagles in mock drafts for forever now. Mike Mayock talked about the possibility of him being the pick for Philadelphia in April.

I have Corey Davis as the No. 1 receiver, because I think he's a better athlete with good size. Better run after the catch than Mike Williams. He's not going to be able to work out because he's injured at the combine. I think all three of them are in the conversation. They bring different things to the table. And, lastly, I think I'd struggle thinking that the three of them will struggle like Nelson Agholor did, who was another first round pick. I think they're going to be fine.

Davis is actually the second wide receiver selected in this mock. SB Nation has John Ross, who ran a record-breaking 40-yard dash over the weekend, going to the Bengals at No. 9.

No. 1 - DE Myles Garrett
No. 2 - QB DeShone Kizer
No. 3 - QB Mitchell "Don’t call me Mitch" Tribusky
No. 4 - DE Jonathan Allen
No. 5 - S Jamal Adams
No. 6 - RB Leonard Fournette
No. 7 - S Malik Hooker
No. 8 - DE Solomon Thomas
No. 9 - WR John Ross
No. 10 - QB Deshaun Watson
No. 11 - DE Derek Barnett
No. 12 - TE O.J. Howard
No. 13 - CB Marshon Lattimore

Three quarterbacks going off the board before the Eagles pick would be very nice for Philadelphia.

What do you think of this week’s pick?
