New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks is sure to be traded, and it’s looking like the Eagles might be the front runners, per Alex Marvez of The Sporting News.
I'm told @Eagles likely landing spot for @brandincooks so not sure how that would affect @BMarshall interest https://t.co/zjpvauzFpc

Probably a 2nd rounder I'm told https://t.co/NB8mFEHb64

Well, now we’re getting into specifics, with Marvez saying it could take a 2nd round pick. Yesterday it was reported that the Eagles and Titans were in on discussions, and now it seems the Eagles have taken the lead.
Cooks was originally drafted by the Saints with the 20th pick in 2014, after they traded up two spots ahead of the Eagles, who were widely reported to be targeting him in the draft. With Cook, the last of their top tier targets that year off the board, the Eagles traded down and drafted Marcus Smith.
In 2015 Cooks caught 84 passes for 1138 yards and 9 touchdowns, and last year caught 78 passes for 1173 yards and 8 touchdowns. The Saints soured on Cooks after he publicly voiced frustration with not being targeted in a 49-21 win over the Rams.
Cooks is currently under contract for only 2017, but if acquired, the Eagles would have until May 2nd to exercise Cook’s 5th year option for 2018.
UPDATE: RapSheet says the Saints want a first rounder.
The #Saints are aiming high value-wise for a potential WR Brandin Cooks trade. They've told teams they want a 1st round pick.
