Happy National Puppy Day! In honor of this great holiday, the Philadelphia Eagles streamed a long video on their Facebook page featuring a bunch of puppies running around and playing with each other. A couple Eagles players, including cornerback Ron Brooks, even got in on the action! You can watch the whole adorable thing here:
Part of the reason the Eagles hosted this video was to raise awareness for the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) and Saved Me Rescue. You can check out those sites for more information on how to adopt a cute new puppy of your own.
Brooks wasn’t the only Eagles player in the video. There’s another guy who comes in around the 17:00 minute mark but I’m not sure who he is. Let me know in the comments if you can figure it out. Eagles mascot Swoop also got to play with the puppies.
I’m very jealous, but I also feel better after watching this. Hopefully this makes your day more enjoyable as well.
Feel free to post pictures of your puppies in the comments!
I want to thank @Gunner_Kennels on #nationalpuppyday for helping me keep my pups safe and comfortable during our adventures! #Henley #Jersey pic.twitter.com/pZzvi4GCZk
