Connor Barwin Admits He Wants To Get Into NFL Management - CBS Philly
“I’ve never told anybody this, but I’d consider myself maybe that after I’m done playing football I’d like to get into management,” Barwin said Tuesday on the 94WIP Carlin & Reese Show, in his first interview since signing with the LA Rams.

Here are all of Torrey Smith's targets in 2016, with analysis - PhillyVoice
OK, now the bad. First, by my count, Smith had seven drops, and again, only 20 catches. That means that he dropped seven of just 27 catches balls or 25.9 percent. Somehow, that's worse than any of the Eagles' receivers were a year ago. I even forgave some of the close ones, as in, I didn't count them. The drop at the 6:10 mark against the Cardinals was a benchable offense.

Major players discuss the NFL's pain points - ESPN
Jim Trotter sits down with Eric Winston, Richard Sherman, Chris Harris Jr. and Malcolm Jenkins to talk about NFL drug policies, how outsiders view the Combine and how players may see the NFL as a job rather than a passion.

Eagles' 5 most-pressing needs after free-agency flurry - CSN Philly
Jim Schwartz's entire defense is predicated on getting pass rush without blitzing. That's hard to do with edge rushers who aren't getting to the quarterback. It was already a problem last season, and now the Eagles have cut Connor Barwin and will have to start Vinny Curry. Maybe this will be the push Curry needs, but he didn't do anything to instill confidence last year after signing a $46 million megadeal. Right now, Marcus Smith is the third defensive end off the bench in the rotation, so the Eagles need plenty of help at this spot.

Projecting a CB prospect for the Eagles on each day of the draft - EaglesWire
Tre’Davious White is an ultra-athletic corner that can play the slot as well as either outside positions. He has the blend of size and athleticism to compete with the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Dez Bryant, and Jamison Crowder. White’s man coverage skills will transfer to the Eagles scheme with little problems. Taking the former LSU corner will allow him to be reunited with Mills, his college teammate.

Nick Foles vs. Chase Daniel and other Eagles thoughts - NJ.com
If it's late in the season (or even early in the season) and Carson Wentz has to miss a game for whatever reason, I think Foles gives the Eagles a better chance to win a game than Chase Daniel would. Why? I've seen Foles win games (yes, he lost some, too). Daniel has never been in that situation in his career, which is kind of hard to believe.

Reception Perception: Zay Jones is This Year’s Most Confusing WR Prospect - The Fantasy Footballers
Even if he finds a home as a possession-flanker/slot receiver hybrid in the NFL, Jones doesn’t offer much upside as a player in space. Along with his utilization, this was likely a big culprit in his low yards per reception total as a collegian. We needed to see more from Jones in space, as his route success rate chart doesn’t lend much credence to the idea he has some untapped upside as an outside or downfield threat. His out-breaking route percentages were simply too low to glean much from positive success rates on corners or comebacks. Even when Jones did run nine routes, we see he failed to create much vertical separation with a below-average 43.2 percent success rate vs. coverage.

D.A. Seth Williams indicted on corruption, bribery-related charges - Philly.com
In January, the Philadelphia Board of Ethics assessed the largest fine in its 10-year history for Williams’ failure to report for years more than $175,000 in gifts he had accepted including a new roof, luxury vacations, Eagles sidelines passes, and use of a defense attorney’s home in Florida. Williams, as investigators outlined the case Tuesday, was not shy about asking for handouts.

Dolphins re-sign Kiko Alonso to long-term contract - The Phinsider
The Dolphins had placed a first-round tender on Alonso, which would have paid him $3.9 million this season. He was free to negotiate with other teams, though any team that reached an agreement with Alonso would have owed Miami, if they chose not to match, a first-round pick in next month’s NFL Draft. Alonso and the Dolphins were reportedly working on a new contract prior to the start of free agency, and were hopeful the tender would not have been needed.
