The first wave of NFL free agency is over which means it’s time for Bovada to release their annual updated Super Bowl odds. Despite making a huge splash at the wide receiver position this offseason, the Eagles’ odds haven’t changed. Philadelphia still ranks tied for 19th at 50/1. Going back even further, the Eagles’ current Super Bowl odds are no different than they were at this time last year.
Although some outlets have the Eagles’ playoff odds’ increasing, it’s not very surprising the Eagles’ Super Bowl odds haven’t changed. Because as much as the Alshon Jeffery addition is a big one for Philadelphia, the Eagles still have a lot of work to do. They’re going to have to replace five starters on defense, including two new cornerbacks. There’s still plenty of offseason left for the team to address their needs, so no one should be freaking out just yet, but it’s a concern for now.
A look around the NFC East shows the Eagles are tied for the worst odds in the division with Washington. The Dallas Cowboys rank tied for second on this list after their odds got slightly worse. The New York Giants’ odds got better and they’re now tied for seventh.
You feeling lucky enough to put money on the Eagles?
