Carson Wentz just might be the good luck charm the Philadelphia Flyers need.
The Eagles’ starting quarterback was at the Flyers’ home game against the Penguins on Wednesday evening. Despite the Penguins having the second best record in the NHL, the mediocre Flyers kicked the crap out of Pittsburgh by a final score of 4-0. Shut out. Beautiful.
CSN Philly’s Jon Clark caught Wentz’s appearance at the Wells Fargo Center on video. He also seemingly caught up with Wentz for a brief moment to get the quarterback’s thoughts on the Eagles’ new receiving signings: Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. "I’m excited about them," said Wentz, per Clark.
