Alshon Jeffery’s official contract details have been revealed. Upon signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, reports indicated the deal was worth $14 million over one year. Now we have more specifics thanks to Mike Garafolo.
Alshon Jeffery's deal w/ Philly: $7.75m signing bonus, $1m base (gtd), $750k workout and $4.5m in incentives for yds, catches, Pro Bowl, etc

So essentially this is a one-year, $9.5 million contract for Jeffery. The best wide receiver on the free agent market! Pretty good job by the Eagles here.
The notion that Jeffery was going to be too expensive for the Eagles turned out to be false. Having him count for only $9.5 million against Philadelphia’s cap space is what has allowed the team to make other signings (Torrey Smith, Chance Warmack, Stefen Wisniewski).
It’s really hard not to like this Jeffery deal for the Eagles. There’s little risk and lots of upside. The hope is that he plays like the legitimate No. 1 wide receiver he is, stays healthy, and doesn’t get suspended. But if he doesn’t, the Eagles can just easily move on next offseason by not giving him a new deal. And the Eagles will have only spent $9.5 million for that chance at acquiring an elite wide receiver.
Great deal.
