The NFLPA announced that Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins has won the Byron “Whizzer” White Award for “outstanding charitable efforts off the field.”

As the winner, Jenkins will receive $100,000 to the charity of his choice.

Jenkins joins Reggie White, Troy Vincent and Brian Dawkins as Eagles who have won the award. Jenkins was a finalist for the award in 2015, and Stephen Tulloch was a finalist last year.

Byron “Whizzer” White was the league’s leading rusher in 1938 and 1940. He later rose to national prominence as a Supreme Court Justice from 1962-1993.
