Brandon Lee Gowton is back at BGN

Dearest Bleeding Green Nation,

I’m back.

After a brief stint away, I have returned!

I truly mean it when I say I couldn’t be more glad to be here again. BGN is home. I started out here in the comments in 2010 before working my way up to the front page in 2013.

And now I’m thrilled to officially announce I’m resuming my role as BGN’s Manager and Editor-in-Chief. In addition, I’ll also be working in a new role with the SB Nation NFL team.

I’d like to thank Adam Hermann and Dave Mangels for their efforts while I was away. They’re not only great writers — they’re fantastic people. I’m looking forward to working with them again. Their value as major contributors to this site moving forward can’t be understated. With their support, BGN will reach new heights.

I’d also like to thank the awesome BGN community. Without you, BGN wouldn’t exist. I look forward to interacting with you all once again. You’re like my extended family. I hope you’ll welcome me back with open arms.

Now that I’m back, I’m looking forward to picking up right where I left off. I also have some exciting new ideas for the site. I know our staff will be fully committed to making Bleeding Green Nation the best Philadelphia Eagles outlet there ever is, was, and will be.
