This week’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams is a big game with even bigger story-lines.
The two top offenses in the NFL. NFC playoff picture implications. The top two picks in the 2016 NFL Draft going head to head: Carson Wentz versus Jared Goff. Two potential Coach of the Year candidates squaring off: Doug Pederson versus Sean McVay.
There’s no shortage of interest in this game.
As such, Sam Farmer of the LA Times reports FOX is actually moving their NFL Sunday show, which is usually shot in a studio, to the scene of the Eagles-Rams game at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
NEWS on #Eagles-#Rams — FOX is so excited about keeping this NFC showdown and onetime flex candidate that network is moving its entire studio show Sunday to the front of the Coliseum to create a College Gameday environment.

It will be the main studio show — Howie, Michael, Jimmy, Terry — and they will be set up in front of the peristyle end of the Coliseum, where those headless statues are.

That’s pretty cool. Just another reminder that this weekend’s game is a big one.
If Philadelphia’s Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers was any indication, there should be a good amount of Eagles fans at this week’s game. Those Eagles fans can make their presence felt by showing up to the pregame show before then invading the stands at the Coliseum.
It sure wouldn’t hurt the Birds to have some extra support on the road.
