It’s Dallas Cowboys week! Time to get fired up for the Eagles’ Week 17 game against one of Philadelphia’s biggest rivals!
Or not.
As we know, this week’s matchup is pretty meaningless. Neither team has anything to play for at this point. The Eagles locked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a win over the Raiders on Christmas night. The Cowboys, meanwhile, were officially eliminated from the NFL playoff picture by choking in a home game against the Seahawks.
The Eagles will be trying to use this Sunday as a tune-up opportunity before the playoffs start. Doug Pederson said that Philadelphia’s starters will be playing against Dallas. Once Pederson has seen enough from his key players, he’s likely to pull them in favor of rookies and backups. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone on the bottom of the roster can shine with their playing time opportunity on Sunday.
Although the game doesn’t matter, it’d still be pretty funny if the Cowboys lost to the likes of Nick Foles and Nate Sudfeld. Just a perfect way to cap off a disappointing season for Dallas fans.
Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
