There’s still one week remaining in the 2017 NFL regular season. But thanks to the league’s schedule formula, we already know all of the Philadelphia Eagles’ opponents in 2017. Here are the teams the Eagles will play in 2018.

Los Angeles Rams (11-4)
The specific dates and times won’t be known until the NFL officially announces the 2018 schedule April.
The Eagles’ 16-game schedule is determined by a formula. They play the three NFC East teams twice a season, so that makes up six games. They also play one NFC and one AFC division, which rotates each year. In 2018, that’s the NFC South and the AFC South, so that’s eight more games. The Eagles then play the two teams from each of the other two NFC divisions that finished in the same spot in their division as Philadelphia. So that would be the Vikings in the NFC North and the Rams in the NFC West.
As we all know, the NFL is typically a year-to-year league. There’s so much that can change from now until next season. With that said, here are some early thoughts about the Eagles’ 2018 opponents.
- Not an easy looking schedule, which is to be expected since that comes with the territory of finishing first in the division.
- At least five of the Eagles’ 2018 opponents made the playoffs in 2017. That figure could be as high as seven depending what happens with the Falcons and Titans.
- We’ll get Carson Wentz vs. Deshaun Watson at the Linc next year. That should be fun.
- We’ll also get another Carson Wentz vs. Jared Goff battle in Los Angeles.
- Oh, and how could I forget to mention the matchup between former future Eagles savior Marcus Mariota and current Eagles savior Carson Wentz?
- Going to the Superdome figures to be tough.
- The Eagles-Jaguars game could potentially be played in London. It’d be great to see the Eagles not have to lose a home game.
