The one thing I would change about the Eagles’ season

Each week, the SB Nation NFL team sites explore a special theme. This week's theme is: “The one thing I would change about my team's season.

Carson Wentz not getting injured. Done.

OK, that’s way too easy and obvious. Let’s assume the theme question includes “besides injuries.”

With that modification in mind, there isn’t an obvious answer that jumps out at me. So I went to the Twitter machine to see how everyone else felt.

Here are some of the responses that showed up.

As you can see, there’s no real consensus there. Mostly just nit-picky stuff. And I think that says a lot.

This Eagles season has been special. It’s simply not every year you start out 12-2 with a real good chance to clinch the No. 1 seed in Week 16.

Even with Wentz out, this team still have a legitimate chance to make a Super Bowl run. Their chances are obviously significant worse without Wentz, but hey, who knows.

If the Eagles can win their first playoff game, they’ll get to host the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia. If they can somehow win that, they’ll be going to the biggest game of the year.

And even if the Eagles don’t make it all the way, at the very least we learned that their window to contend should be open for a long time as long as Wentz is around.

So while some could certainly find some minor things to change, I don’t think I’d change a thing ... outside of injuries.
