Fletcher Cox responds to Cowboys wide receiver who calls out Eagles defense

The Eagles’ defense did not have a great day against the Giants’ offense.

And that’s putting it lightly.

Philadelphia allowed 504 yards and 29 points to a New York team that was averaging 296.2 (29th) and 15.3 (31st) per game, respectively, prior to Sunday’s matchup.

Cowboys wide receiver Brice Butler took notice.

Fletcher Cox wasn’t having any of that, though.

Boom. Shut down.

Butler, the self-proclaimed sixth receiving option on Dallas, didn’t even play in the Cowboys’ game against on the Raiders on Sunday night. I guess that’s why he had the time to pay attention to the Eagles.

And speaking of embarrassing performances, maybe Butler should check out his own team.

The Eagles defense certainly needs to improve. But the Cowboys should quit yapping.
