NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have returned to the East Coast for the third and final tilt of a three-game road stretch. Sunday’s matchup features a battle against the New York Giants.

Despite being a division game, this matchup lacks juice.

The Eagles already wrapped up the NFC East by defeating the Los Angeles Rams last weekend. Now the Birds are looking to clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture.

Philadelphia will obviously be moving forward without Carson Wentz as their starting quarterback. The second-year signal caller suffered an unfortunate season-ending ACL injury in L.A. Now it’s up to Nick Foles and the rest of the team to step up in Wentz’s absence.

The Giants should be a relatively easy test for the Wentz-less Eagles. New York is really bad and banged up. The Giants fired their head coach (Ben McAdoo) and general manager (Jerry Reese) last week so they’re clearly about to undergo some major changes this offseason.

In the meantime, Eli Manning is still the Giants’ starting quarterback. He was able to have some success when he came to Philadelphia earlier this season. Of course, he won’t have Odell Beckham Jr. to throw to this time around.

And that’s all the more reason we should see a dominant performance from the Eagles defense on Sunday. With Wentz going down, there’s a lot of pressure on Jim Schwartz’s unit to really step up. Foles and the offense should be able to score enough to put the Eagles in a position to win as long as the defense does their job. We’ll see if that’s the case.

Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
