Bryce Treggs is back.
The Eagles signed the former Philadelphia wide receiver to their practice squad on Thursday, according to an official announcement from the team. In a corresponding move, the Eagles released practice squad wide receiver/punt returner Rashard Davis.
Treggs left the Eagles’ practice squad when he was signed away by the Browns in early October. Treggs had five receptions for 79 yards with Cleveland before they released him earlier this week.
It’s nice to see Treggs back with Philadelphia. He arguably played well enough this summer to make the team. The Eagles decided to keep 2017 fifth-round pick Shelton Gibson over Treggs, however.
