The Philadelphia Eagles have officially ended Carson Wentz’s 2017 season by placing the starting quarterback on injured reserve.
Wentz, as we know, suffered an ACL injury during the Eagles’ win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Head coach Doug Pederson confirmed the news on Monday. Wentz has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

By placing Wentz on injured reserve, the Eagles have opened up a roster spot. It’s possible the team signs special teams demon Bryan Braman, who they reportedly worked out earlier on Tuesday.
